hobbies!

Now that Im a stay at home mom Im really enjoying some of my hobbies, specially crochet. It's relaxing for me. When the girls are sleeping I make myself a cup of coffee, put on my headphones (just on one ear  so I can hear the baby if/when she wakes up) and crochet away. sometimes I know what I want to make but most of the time I get ideas as I go. I love making things for my girls and for my online store. I think it's nice to have something you are passionate about. It could be anything from make up, art, food, etc. I encourage Mia to try new things and if there is something she really enjoys to keep at it. Right now because of her art class I have paintings all over our place. she paints something almost everyday, we frame them and give them as gifts to our family members.

I have so many ideas and things I want to learn to make. Something new that Im trying is sewing. My in-laws have a sewing machine so I go over to their place and try to learn from them. It seems complicated but I know that with practice I will get the hang of it. 

Im not really a black friday shopper but I think Im going to brave thru the crowd and go look for a good deal on a sewing machine. I have a dress pattern that I want to attempt to make, plus so many other different things I can't wait to try.
